7th Annual Blading and Blues Weekend in Ottawa
This event has been brought back by popular demand.
The weekend will be a combination of blading and blues. We'll
roll on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday mornings, and take in the blues
festival Friday afternoon and evening, as well as Saturday evening.
Ottawa has some of the best rollerblading trails in the
country. Come out and enjoy the beautiful scenery and paths
in the national Capital. In the hot afternoons and evenings
enjoy the Cisco Systems Bluesfest 2008, which is an extravaganza of
music and entertainment. You can also go sightseeing on Parliament hill,
shopping at the Byward market, or dining at one or more of Ottawa's
fabulous restaurants.

- Dates: July 3rd - 6th
- Numbers: We will be taking 10 people, so you'll need to sign up early.
Sign-up is on a first come, first serve basis.
- Cost: $140.00 for two nights, $200.00 for three nights. The cost is based on double occupancy in
two bedroom suites in downtown Ottawa at the University of Ottawa. A breakfast in the organizers'
room on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday mornings is included in the cost, as well as a party lunch from
2:00 PM until 5:00 PM in the lounge on Saturday afternoon. Parking is extra.

July Special
Tuesday Evening Roll and Pub Night
Our second special event will be a roll at Cherry Beach followed by a pub party
at Keating Channel. This is a great way to
meet people from the club both during and after the roll.
- Date: Tuesday, July 15th
- Roll Start: 7:00 PM at the Cherry Beach
- Roll Location: Martin Goodman Trail East
- Party Time: The festivities will kick off at 8:30 PM
- Party Location: We'll go over to the Keating Channel and party the night away on the patio.
